White Blouse Outfit

Coco Chanel once said: “Everyone can do Sherazade” but to design a beautiful white blouse is quite a challenge which starts with the selection of the material. The cotton has to have a good touch, soft and warm enough but not as stiff as a men’s shirt. The light has to break in the right way that the white is still white and not shimmering green, grey or creme. We want to illuminate the face instead of looking bourgeois. We don’t want to see the structure, but clean white surface. It took me while to discover the right fabric. – And than, it’s about the cut, the fitting and the look. Not too much details but also not too little than it becomes boring. We are talking about millimeters of collar and row of buttons. Shoulder and waist have to be precise, shaping the body. No stretch, this goes against the strong tough of the material. Covered buttons and highlighted buttons at the collar and the cuffs – extravagant long to stick out under the blazer. Businesslike, elegant, bohemian, prim and proper, carefully seductive … Simple but sophisticated!
