Climbing Table Mountain
Sunday morning, December 6, start at 8.30 am at the Tafelberg Road. The most direct way up called Platteklip Gorge. For 3 km steps but steps, always the sun with us and amazing views onto Cape Town. At 11 am arriving on top, soaked, in need for cold drinks, enjoying the moment, and ….putting on my diamond blouse….the colors just perfectly fit to the area.
Strolling the Gardens of Babylonstoren
December, 8. Visit to the Estate close to Paarl with its amazing Farm Garden and Restaurants, . Hot and dry day in the wine lands with close to 30 degrees. Situated a 45 mins drive from Cape Town. Babylonstoren is an ancient Cape Dutch Farm. The gardens with their immense choice of fruits and flowers are outstanding. But what I loved most: the lights mixed with shades and the abundance of colors…..and then take a break at one of the restaurants under the umbrellas… Perfect place to have my diamond blouse with me.
